Man, woman, friend

Man ==> 남자 (namja)

Woman ==> 여자 (yeoja)

Friend ==> 친구 (chingu)

These korean words are very easy to remember, ^^ that’s why I selected them. LOL, time to start learning some korean words/phrases.

From the above 3 words, you can further learn new words :), like so…

Boyfriend ==> 남자 친구 (namja chingu)

Girlfriend ==> 여자 친구 (yeoja chingu)

I’m still searching online for a good article on how to learn the korean alphabets. I need to start learning them to translate all those korean music videos – “ng ho yi si” to ask friends to translate for me all the time.

  1. hi, i just came across your site when i was looking some more info about HowL’s cd! And i like it (your site)!
    but you can just google or whatever search engine you’re using to learn about the korean alphabet! i did that too. I began to learn the alphabet when i came across the ‘learn korean’ section of a lyrics site! (aheeyah.com) They have the korean, romanization AND translation of a lot of songs! You can use that instead of trying to translate it yourself.. I haven’t found that many sites to learn the korean words and grammatic.. 😦
    Well, good luck! (^o^)V

  2. i just entered your site, it wod help if there is a section where you can pronouce the word. like in yeoboseyo, is it ye-o-bo-se-yo or yeo-bo-se-yo??

  3. ah… “hello” in korean (use in phone) ?

    it is written (or should I said, normally romanized) as “yeoboseyo”

    hmm… pronounced as yeo – bo – se – yo … “yeo” sounds more like “yoh”
