Bobby Kim to release new album

Bobby Kim will release his third regular album and begin a nationwide tour of 15 cities next month, Kim’s agency Oscar Entertainment said yesterday.

Kim (real name Kim Do-gyun) is one of the most critically acclaimed hip-hop/soul artists in the country. His last album came out in December of 2006.

The Seoul concerts at the KEPCO Art Center from March 12-14 will mark the start of his tour. Kim will also perform on April 3 at the Seongnam Arts Center, April 10 at the KBS Changwon Hall, April 17 at the Busan Citizen Hall, April 24 at the Goyang Aram Nuri Arts Center, and May 22 at the Daegu Citizen Center.

Kim, who last year sold more than 50,000 copies with his special album “Love Chapter No. 1,” plans to meet his fans directly through upcoming concerts rather than through TV shows, the agency said.
