Younha in a Japanese film

Youn-ha’s popularity in Japan as a singer landed her a role in the Japanese film This Sunday. The film is scheduled for a Japanese release in this year’s spring. It is still unknown when the film will play in Korean cinemas.

Youn-ha plays a Korean exchange student who is struggling to adept to life in Japan. Yoon-ha has experience acting in a short film.

The male lead is a role by Japan’s foremost kabuki actor Ichikawa Somekoro. Director Kenmochi Satoki is at the helm. The film was shot in Nagano and also on location in Korea.
