I’m waiting for their next single, Hanabi. Wonder if it will be as good as Gift
This PV almost make me cry in the end because of the beautiful rainbow. I also like how the director (whoever it is) used the slow-motion to show us the movement of water in the air.
Some caps from the PV.
Finally found the time to upload this PV. It has been in my PC for ages
I like the color tone of this mv, even though it’s a bit erhm…gloomy, IMO, and the multiple shots of the back of various people looking to the sky beyond.
This song is the theme song of the jdorama “Dream Again” – has anyone watch it? If yes, is it good?
I accidentally stumbled upon this song. I was watching Music Station one day (featuring Mr.Children) when I discovered this group. They were the first group to sing in that show and instantly I liked this song. The most addictive part of this song, IMO, is the chorus part – it is an earworm!
The song’s lyric and melody is written by the lead singer, Futoshi. The Japanese title of this song is “小さな掌” and it means “Small/Little Palm”.
Some screencaps from vid
Although this is not a HQ version (sorry, can’t seem to find the HQ ), I like to watch this video very much. Not to mention that I like the song too . After watching this vid, I do wish to go to their concert in Japan. I heard someone mentioned in some forum that Mr.Children concerts are one of the must-go live concerts in Japan. Maybe I should check out that Home DVD that they released during the same time as this single was released O_O.
Tabidachi no Uta (旅立ちの唄) is the theme song of the hit movie, “Koizora” (Sky of Love). In English, it would mean “The Song of Journey”. The kanji for “唄” here is not the usual “歌” that I know of. I have no idea why Sakurai-san uses this kanji. Maybe I should ask my sensei
As always, the song lyrics and melody is written by Sakurai-san.
This is the theme song to the movie, Zou no Senaka (Back of the Elephant). The English title will be “The Last River”. The title in Japanese is “最期の川”. When I first watched this PV (without knowing that it is a theme song), I have already guessed that it may be a song to some drama/movie. Well, the PV has a story-plot to it. After I found out, I thought that the scenes in the PV were taken from the movie but they were not. The actor in the PV looked familiar, I have seen him before in those J-dramas that I have watched but I don’t know his name.
I went on to do some R&D on the movie and wow, I think I like the plot. Even though it’s about death :/ I have posted some information links to the movie, if you are interested. Also included the song lyrics’ link and I also found a translation link to it. The lyrics was written by the author of the novel, which the movie was based on.
Regarding the song, it brought back the feelings of the time when I was really really obsessed with Chemistry. Hence, I really really like this song. I hope you like it, too ^^.
Note: As usual, I don’t really have the MQ/HQ of J-PV. This is the LQ version but it’s clear enough.
I only have 2 PVs of Suga Shikao: Gogo no PARADE (Afternoon Parade) and Shunkashuutou (The Four Seasons). The latter is a slow song therefore I decided to upload the former instead. I accidentally discovered his songs actually via Shunkashuutou PV. I thought it was a good song after I have listened to it and wanted to find out more. Then I managed to get the files for his All Best Singles and WOW! a revelation for me. Afterwards, I found out that he wrote Yozora no Mukou, that SMAP song!
This song has an upbeat tempo and even though it is the usual genre that I normally listen to but everytime I want something to cheer me up, I will listen to this song. It has my feet moving along with the song .
Nothing much to say about the PV as Japanese PV don’t usually have story-line plot like the Korean ones. But he appeared in this PV so you can find out what he looks like. When it comes to music, I am not really concern about looks as I think their voices are a more deciding factor for me.
BTW, I’m looking for his other PVs. If you happen to have it, please share ^^, onegaishimasu.
Oh, you may wonder who is Suga Shikao…eh…you may find out more about him in the wiki link here. I found out that not a lot of people heard of him :/ but if you are an anime fan, you may heard of him. Or if you have watched Death Note 1 (the movie), the movie featured one of his songs, “Manatsu no Yoru no Yume” (Midsummer’s Night Dream). The song was played as Raito was walking in the art gallery with his girlfriend
Some caps that I have from the PV and if you download, please let me know what you think of this song/PV ^^.
This is the theme song to YamaPi’s drama, Proposal Daisakusen. I like the theme song but can’t say about the drama – it’s boring -__-

My friend likes her so I am always on the lookout for anything related to her so that my friend will have the updates, etc. I have actually listened to this single first before I came across the MV. The single is very good and her voice is very good. I don’t usually listens to female Japanese singers except maybe, sometimes, MISIA (BTW, I also downloaded her Any Love MV ). That is the first time I have listens to her ^^.
I’ve just mentioned over lunch today to my friend that I found the link to download her MV and she’s so excited that ehm…well…time for friend’s service.
This is not a HQ mv, rather a LQ one, but seeing that I do not know the place to download HQ and I don’t use BT, it is better than nothing!
Today is Clazziquai Vol 3 album release. Their latest mv, Lover Boy, is already released but I have yet the time to download it. So to overcome that, I found this MV from my MV archive. This was a collaboration between Japanese “shibuya-kei” artist, Fantastic Plastic Machine (real name: Tanaka Tomoyuki), and Clazziquai.
It was one of the most unique MV I have downloaded. It was nominated for 2007 Space Shower Music Video Awards under the Groove category. If I remembered correctly, it didn’t win the award but it was still a cool MV.

LOL, I just realised I seldom post Japanese MVs (or PVs as the Japanese like to call them). This song was the theme song to “Orange Days”, the Japanese drama starring Tsumabuki Satoshi, Shibasaki Kou, Eita, Narimiya Hiroki, etc. It’s a nice drama – if you haven’t watch it, you should. The drama is like an updated version of “Asunaro Hakusho” – the one starring a very young Kimura Takuya.
