Jacky Cheung has a new album out!!!

O_O … I didnt keep in touch with all those JC fans for many years already so I was late in getting this news.

WOAH! New Cantonese album (HK release: 29th Jan) and news of a world concert tour (2nd half of 2010). OK…need to save money for the concert now

Should I go and check out the new album tomorrow? But I think it will only arrives here next week … hmm…

Oh, I think his new movie will be out soon (Chasing Hennessy or something) – his co-star is Tang Wei

Jacky Cheung is back in…

Well, better than nothing.  The film is called “Crossing Hennessy”, written by Ivy Ho (well-known screenwriter for films like July Rhapsody, Divergence, Comrades, Almost a Love Story, etc.).  And the lead actress is Tang Wei.

No idea when the film’s release date.  Hopefully, he’ll sing the theme song as well

Ang Lee wins Golden Lion at Venice FF…

Congrats to Ang Lee for winning the director’s award for Lust, Caution. This is his 2nd win (first one was Brokeback Mountain).

Jacky Cheung to hold concert in Beijing Sept 30…

Ah…I’ll be going to his concert in KL next month but the day after will be my Japanese class lesson examination – I’m a bad student.

Every time I saw him (whether on screen, ad, etc), I felt really guilty coz he’s supposed to be my No. 1 idol – he still is – but I have not been as “devoted” as I have been many years ago…ah …let’s blame it on the Kpop songs that I am now listening every day.

學友過年豪派10萬利是

(星島日報報道)大年初一張學友在美國拉斯維加斯舉行兩場演唱會，反應熱烈座無虛席。學友工作之餘，最開心是與太太及女兒一家在賭城過年，尤其是兩個寶貝女很喜歡拉斯維加斯的熱鬧氣氛。學友透露新春期間舉行巡迴演唱會要準備多點紅包派給工作人員，估計利是開支要10萬元。

今年學友在賭城度歲很懷念傳統過年菜，他的至愛美食是用炭爐燒魚湯，加入肉丸、津白、粉絲等材料，吃起來一陣炭香味很特別。此外，小時候各種過年習 俗仍留在腦海中，他記得小時候看父親寫揮春，在眾多新年吉祥字句中，他最喜歡「吉」字，寫得愈大愈好，感覺好開心、舒服及輕鬆。學友完成賭城演出後，會 到加拿大開個唱，他向歌迷拜年，祝願大家平安吉祥。

(星島日報報道)農曆新年期間，很多藝人也會出埠登台或旅遊，而昨日早上，張學友便攜同家眷，一行10多人，到拉斯維加斯準備其在大年初一的世界巡迴演唱會首站。但學友的愛妻卻顯得十分避忌，四處躲避之餘，更以外套來保護幼女，令到學友也打趣的說﹕「沒有人影我﹖」

昨日早上約11時30分，學友與太太羅美薇及兩個女兒、兩名助手(包括曾志偉 的兒子)、經理人陳淑芬、兩個傭人、化妝師及髮型師等，一行10多人出現機場，出發到拉斯維加斯準備大年初一、初二開始其《2007世界巡迴演唱會》，完成拉斯維加斯首站的演唱會後，便會轉到加拿大、新加坡 、馬來西亞、日本、香港、台灣    等地區和中國內地20多個城市繼續巡迴演出。

學友甫到機場，見到大批傳媒守候，感到十分愕然，他說﹕「嘩，不用那麼多人呢﹖」而學友為怕女兒曝光，他亦即時轉身提醒抱細女的傭人要小心記者影相。記者問學友是否到拉斯維加斯時，他說﹕「是，(何時開騷﹖)年初一。」但當記者問到會帶兩個囡囡到那處遊玩時﹖學友便沒有回答，並向四處張望，像在找尋太太May May及兩名女兒的蹤影，不過May May卻對記者的鏡頭顯得十分避忌，經常左閃右避，而且更用手上的外套蓋細女，免細女被記者拍到，而學友見記者不斷追影太太及女兒，他便反問﹕「沒有人影我﹖」

【明報專訊】張學友於大年初一、初二在美國拉斯維加斯舉行《2007世界巡迴演唱會》首站演出，此行特別帶同太太羅美薇及兩名愛女瑤華、瑤萱前往度歲。昨日一家四口出發，一向抗拒曝光的羅美薇與兩位千金出現成為傳媒焦點，羅美薇對此極之避忌，又用外套遮細女謠萱免被拍到；學友見狀顯得無奈，而受到「冷落」的他彈出一句﹕「都無人影我！」

昨日上午11時30分，學友與太太羅美薇、女兒謠華及謠萱、經理人陳淑芬、助手、傭人、化妝師、髮型師等出現機場離境大堂，準備出發往拉斯維加斯。學友見到在場大批傳媒愕然說﹕「嘩！使唔使咁多人呀？」他為免愛女曝光，即時轉身示意抱細女的傭人小心。問學友帶女兒到那處遊玩？他未有回答，眼睛則緊張四處張望，關注太太羅美薇及女兒的情。

謝賢隻身離港

昨日機場還有謝賢、鄭嘉穎    離港。之前謝霆鋒曾說會與太太張芝、父母謝賢、狄波拉往加拿大探，昨午4時見到謝賢，他戴墨鏡，一身黑衣打扮。問他霆鋒是否同行？他笑笑口說﹕「你問我？慢慢等啦！」鄭嘉穎昨日亦出發往拉斯維加斯，擔任老師劉家昌演唱會表演嘉賓。

Jacky left for Las Vegas yesterday for the first show of his World Tour. He took with him his family (May Lo and his 2 daughters), 2 assistants (which include Eric Tsang’s son), manager Chan Suk-Fan, 2 maids, make-up artist, hairstylist, etc, totalling to more than 10 people.

When Jacky arrived at the HK airport and saw a bunch of reporters, he was very surprised and exclaimed that his leaving do not need to involve so many reporters. He was, however, concerned that the press would take pictures of his younger daughter and asked one of his maids to take extra precaution. When the reporters asked him when is his first show, he replied it will be on the first day of Chinese New Year. But he didn’t reply to the next question which was where he will take his family after the show. He was looking around for his wife and 2 daughters. May May was very wary of the reporters and used her jacket (or coat) to hide her younger daughter from the photographers. When Jacky saw that all the photographers have turned their attention to his wife and daughters, he lamented that no one wanted to take pictures of him.

Another note was Jacky was one of the final nominees for the 2006 World’s Most Influential Chinese Awards.

WOW! I didn’t know he was nominated for that 2006 World’s Most Influential Chinese Awards. LOL, I didn’t know that there is such an award in the first place. He already won the World’s Youth Award a few years ago. Congratulations for being nominated.

It was news that Eric Tsang’s son is working with him as his assistant. I remembered he has another assistant called Atom (or similar name, couldn’t remember) but I don’t think Atom is Eric’s son . Atom is way way taller and didn’t actually look like Eric.

The reason why the media was focusing their attention of May and his daughters was because it was really rare to see all 4 of them together and furthermore, his younger daughter’s picture has yet to appear in the press i.e. nobody really know how she looks like. You know la, HK paparazzi….

Wish him “ganbatte” in his Las Vegas show !
