Today’s selection has more old Chinese hit songs than usual. Most of them were Cantonese songs .
Of course, I do have some old Korean and Japanese songs and today’s list a bit long (more songs). There’re also a lot of theme songs featured in this list.

The following lists are the nominees. I have problems deciphering some of the Hip Hop nominees, though so I just put the album name as the original Korean album name. The only section that I didn’t put in is the Trot nominees. I have no idea who they are! (more…)

I was partly inspired by the discussions going in Lim Chang Gyu profile thread – very hot and funny discussions over there . So the idea struck me to make a list of Korean artists that have went under the knife – confirmed (as in the artists admitted themselves) or otherwise. Now, this is not a thread to “degrade” them, so please do not bash them or say worst stuff about them. If you know of any artists that have surgeries done or rumored to have surgeries, please share it.

The English Summary/Translation:
Brian is singing the theme song for the latest KBS drama, “Hello! Miss”, starring Lee Da Hae and Lee Ji Hoon. Title of the song is “The Everyday of Me”. The song has been in the top ranking of the Korean internet online and ringtone charts. Earlier, Brian (with HwanHee) has done a theme song for SBS drama, Fashion 70s (“Kaseumapado”).
This theme song is a beautiful love ballad and it is actually the love theme for the 2 leads. Brian’s passionate voice and the beautiful lyrics greatly increased this song’s charm. The producer for the “Hello! Miss” OST said that Brian’s unique voice for Fashion 70s theme song has touched the heart of the audience, and he was very satisfied with the production of this “Hello! Miss” OST.
Brian said that he himself has lots of interest in TV drama OST. After he read the script for “Hello! Miss”, he’s very interested and participated in the OST. He added that all the OST that he has a part of has been selling quite well and this time he is happy because he received good reviews (from fans) for this OST.
Brian also revealed that Fly To The Sky’s new album is scheduled to be release in the middle of next month. He is now busy with post-production of the new album with HwanHee.

Frankly, I haven’t listen to the new theme song. :/ I don’t even know he sang the theme song until I read this news today. I do look forward to FTTS new album :p . He’s been busy lately with hosting and appearing on game shows even though I don’t usually watch game shows. No access to CB – can’t download :p .

Lisa’s Duets With Lee Seung-chul, FTTS
Singer and artist Lisa has joined forces with three of the leading male singers in the country—Lee Seung-chul and popular duo Fly To The Sky.
Lisa has recorded a duet with ballad-king Lee Seung-chul on “A Love More Beautiful in the End,” which Lee had previously sung with Park Mi-kyung. Lee had loved the song so much he did not want it to be forgotten, so he asked Lisa to help him revive it.
Lisa also recorded “Beautiful Name” with the popular R&B duo Fly To The Sky.
She was also featured on Lee Seung-chul’s “In My World,” off his 7th album, and Fly To The Sky’s “The Girl Is Mine.”
Lisa plans to release her 3rd album in the second half of the year.

I haven’t actually listen to all the songs in the single, only the duet with Lee Seung Chul. Need to listen more as I am watching the MV while listening to it. Anyway, I really like Lisa – she really impressed me with her second album, Mind Blowin’, which is a recommended buy. Oh yes, here’s the cover and tracklist of the single:
